Why Rely On Us?

We love dogs
We are a family of five humans with four expressive energetic Coton De Tulears. We want to share this beautiful breed with all they have to offer for the variety of color to the natural calming effect they have. We want this breed to be exposed as a family option with how they will fit into family life. They are most known as the royal dog of Madagascar where they were lap dogs but this is not all they can be. They love to explore and see the world.

Convenience
Over our 20 years of breeding we have learned that making fur babies ready for their new home by doing some things when young helps. We desensitize them to sounds relating to grooming or normal household noise. We start potty training at 5 weeks along with socialization with the other pets in our large breed akita to the cat. I have seen that by 12 weeks the potty training is almost complete and needs only little from their new home to continue to succeed in the new environment. One advantage to this is their love of the great outdoors.

Personalized care
We care for the parents and allow them to assist with the training of socializing pups. The 5 weeks they get to go outside with the other adults in the house which helps them learn what is socially acceptable. We also start with the desensitized grooming and will clip the adults off and on over the next several weeks with puppies close by to see, smell and hear all that this event includes. At this time we also start brushing the puppies so that this is not new when they experience this in their new homes.

Peace of mind and Transparency
We would love everyone to be able to come and see the puppies to make this important decision. However, life does not always allow this to happen. We encourage you to arrange a time to make a video chat so you can see in real time the different personalities. We try to keep you involved until they are able to make the journey home. This will include communication with you about vaccines and/or other vet visits. I also like to send pictures of your fur baby until he/she is able to travel.

Team work
We will provide the first vaccine and heart worm prior to travel along with a health certificate or visit if local. I was encouraged to do all vaccines starting at age 16 weeks on schedule (see vaccine section). During this transition of leaving us and going to you we work with what you need and wish to be done. We also understand that this is not cheap and most don’t plan to breed in the future because of this we offer a refund (in contract) on proof of desexing. We also want the pup to arrive with the least amount of stress and are willing to help with transport ask about us being flight nanny (with fee see contract) or giving you options that we have worked with for long distance transport.
